Our Story
The Redeemed Christian Church of God, New Wine Assembly is a religious organization with a registered charity arm that is focused on spreading the love of God through helping the needy in diverse ways.
We commenced operations in 2007. As a faith-based charity, our focus is to spread the love of God to humanity through helping the isolated/marginalized group of people. We offer practical support to the poor, the needy, the disadvantaged and the vulnerable in our society.
Founded in 2007, New Wine Assembly is a branch of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), rooted in the vision to reach lives with the transformative love of Jesus Christ. Located in London, our assembly brings together a multicultural congregation bound by one faith, one hope, and one God.

As a faith-based charity, our mission is to spread the love of God through charitable activities and spiritual support to those in need.

Meet Our Team
We have dedicated, kindhearted individuals that have formed the family of God and are working tirelessly to achieve the organizational goals and objectives. Our trustees include three members consisting of the Pastor and General overseer of the church: Pastor Onasanya James Ogundele. The trustee is supported by a group of ministers containing 8 members at present. About 80% of this group have been members of the organization from inception till date. The charity arm of the organization is headed by the Pastor and strongly supported by a Project Administrator, an Assistant, and a pool of volunteers..

Community Involvement
The Redeemed Christian Church of God, New Wine Assembly parish is a registered charity under the applicable United Kingdom laws.
Our support to those in need is continuous, diverse, and dynamic.
Our strategic location helped a great deal in shaping our aims and objectives. The Newham Borough where our organization is located is one with a high number of poor, needy, disadvantaged, and vulnerable people. Our community consist of a good number of the BAME population. We are surrounded with people in need of necessities of life, from food to clothing, housing and of course need for a means of livelihood. Their needs usually form the basis of our activities. Our projects and interventions are a direct result from community engagement and requests.
We have past, ongoing and projected projects, programs and interventions. Some of our past projects include:
NEW WINE COMMUNITY KITCHEN – delivery of free hot meals to the needy. Our kitchen project started during the covid-19. Our project simply put is Food Provision for our community. When this project started, it was aimed at preparing and serving hot meals to the public at no cost on some days of the week. We started the first phase in 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown. It was one of our immediate responses to the hardship that came with the COVID-19 pandemic. While the pandemic was ravaging the world and people were hungry and forced to stay home, we came up with the idea of free food provision for the public.
LIVING WELL WITH COVID – aimed at countering the spread of misinformation at the height of the covid-19 pandemic by the provision of the correct information from government agencies. This was underpinned by our access in the community.
START YOUR CAREER WITH THE METROPOLITAN POLICE – one of the greatest needs in our community is jobs. This was an effort in getting our young people the right information on how to join the MPS.
